In 2025, BMW M Motorsport will enter its second season in the FIA World Endurance Championship (FIA WEC) and its third in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship (IMSA series) with the BMW M Hybrid V8. To achieve its ambitious goals in both race series, BMW M Motorsport joins its forces in terms of driver line-up. Eight BMW M works drivers will share the driving duties for BMW M Team WRT in the FIA WEC and BMW M Team RLL in the IMSA series.

Customer racing has been a cornerstone of BMW M Motorsport’s programme for decades. In the 2025 season, it gains a new dimension as the BMW M Racing Academy is launching as a development programme for GT4-category racers. What a day for BMW M Team RLL, what a week for the LMDh programme of BMW M Motorsport! Just a few days after the first podium finish for the BMW M Hybrid V8 in the FIA World Endurance Championship, the LMDh car has scored an impressive 1-2 in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.
BMW M Motorsport is gearing up for two racing highlights this upcoming weekend. The IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship (IMSA series) will make a stop at Indianapolis (USA), where BMW M Team RLL will field two BMW M Hybrid V8s for its home race, as Bobby Rahal’s team is based in Indianapolis. Meanwhile, at Monza (ITA), the fourth Endurance Cup race of the Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS will take place.

CO2 emission information.
Fuel consumption, CO2 emission figures and power consumption and range were measured using the methods required according to Regulation VO (EC) 2007/715 as amended. They refer to vehicles on the German automotive market. For ranges, the NEDC figures take into account differences in the selected wheel and tyre size, while the WLTP figures take into account the effects of any optional equipment.
All figures have already been calculated based on the new WLTP test cycle. NEDC figures listed have been adjusted to the NEDC measurement method where applicable. WLTP values are used as a basis for the assessment of taxes and other vehicle-related duties which are (also) based on CO2 emissions and, where applicable, for the purposes of vehicle-specific subsidies.
