Two wins and a podium for Lettenbichler, Goblet and Salminen.
Munich. Andi Lettenbichler, Juha Salminen and Jeff Goblet, all three riding for
BMW Motorrad Motorsport, stormed to two victories and a podium finish past
weekend at the Spanish, Belgian Enduro championships and the Telfer In(n)duro
in Austria.
Spanish Enduro Championship:
Juha Salminen used the race at Requena near Valencia - the second round of the
series- as practice for the upcoming WEC event on the Island of Sardinia. The
Spanish campaign is probably the toughest domestic in the world, and Salminen
used the super-competitive meeting to work on the setup of his BMW G 450 X. He
ended taking third in the E2 class and fourth in the Overall result, now lying
third in the points.

Belgian Enduro Championship.
Jeff Goblet, who currently sits in second place in the E2 class, gained
valuable ground at the event in Bilstain held past Sunday. Goblet now trails
series leader Thierry Klutz by one point. The BMW rider wrestled down his
opponent in a tight battle that left the two separated by only three seconds
after 15 special stages.
Jeff Goblet: My bike worked perfectly. It was a pretty tough fight, there were
some really fast guys in the race. Luckily for me, I didn't make any mistakes
and came home first ahead of Thierry."

Telfer In(n)duro.
In Austria, Extreme Enduro rider Andi Lettenbichler rode to victory at the
second edition of the Telfer In(n)duro. The challenging track inside Telf's
skating hall asked for a mixture of speed and finesse. Lettenbichler, who pit
pundits regularly mentioned as their race favourite, showed his skills in every
moto along the way. He then used his proven trial capacity at the first
obstacle of the main event (giant tractor tyres) to take immediate command -
and never looked back.
