This year’s (6-17th January) edition of the Dakar will see MINI Motorsport and its motorsport partner X-raid represented by two vehicle types: MINI John Cooper Works Buggy and MINI John Cooper Works Rally.
Dakar Rally 2019 is almost upon the eight MINI Motorsport vehicles set to compete in what is recognised as the most demanding long-distance cross-country rally in the motorsport calendar. For 2019, Peru has been selected as the Dakar hosting country; its desert landscape and mountain tracks to provide 5,000 km of off-road racing action that will not only test the competing teams’ vehicles but the racing crews and riders.
Full information on the MINI Dakar challengers, the teams and crews, and racing heritage of MINI, plus much more can be found within two MINI Dakar Media Guides released today.
