From June 2001, BMW will be offering customers the opportunity to own a C1 for
just £75 a month - less than the price of a monthly zone 1-3 tube ticket!*

Launched in the UK in April 2000, the C1 is BMW's answer to mobility in the
city. Combining the safety features of a small car with the convenience and
manoeuvrability of a two wheeler, the BMW C1 is the world' s first bike/car
hybrid.

With all the design excellence and comfort that you would expect from a BMW,
the C1 is the safest vehicle on two wheels. Crumple zones, roll over cage, a
unique crossover seat belt system and anti lock brakes (optional), make the C1
as safe as a small car in the event of a frontal impact.

Powered by a fuel injected 125cc engine, the C1 has a top speed of around
60mph. There are three models in the range and a unique choice of equipment
and accessories including a sound system, heated seat and handgrips, integral
luggage system, sunroof and mobile phone holder.

Not only is the C1 safe and speedy it is also the cleanest petrol vehicle on
the road, returning almost 100mpg and featuring a three-way catalytic
converter.
