Preparations are well underway for next month's Dirt Bike Show at Stoneleigh
Park in Warwickshire from 16-19 November. It is the UK's biggest off-road
motorcycle show and for the first time in the event's six-year history, BMW
Motorrad will be making an appearance as one of the main exhibitors.

Having just released details of the new 650cc single-cylinder G Series range -
which includes the Xchallenge enduro, Xmoto supermoto and Xcountry adventure
sports bikes - BMW Motorrad will be offering visitors a chance to see these
machines in the metal, along with the powerful HP2 Enduro and much more besides.

If this isn't enough to whet the appetite, other highlights on the stand will
include the BMW all-purpose Globetrotting machine that currently leads the
sales charts by some distance in the Adventure Sport category - the MCN Award
winning R 1200 GS Adventure. The BMW F650 GS Dakar single-cylinder machine
will also be on display at Stoneleigh Park.

Off-road aficionados will be well aware of Long Way Round's Charley Boorman and
BMW Off-Road Skills Chief Instructor Simon Pavey's efforts in this year's Dakar
Rally. Their adventure has been turned into the Race To Dakar book and
television series, which is currently being shown weekly on Sky. Charley's
modified Touratech F 650 GS Dakar race bike will be exhibited on the BMW stand.

BMW's dedicated range of off-road clothing will also be on show for visitors,
including the new Enduro helmet, Protector Jacket, Enduro Shirt and Enduro
Goggles. Another highlight for visitors is the release of the new 2007 World
of BMW activity brochure, which includes details and dates for all of BMW's
Off-Road Skills courses, BMW Rider Training, and World of BMW tours all over
the world. A free copy of the activity brochure can be collected from the BMW
stand.

The 2006 Dirt Bike Show will take place at Stoneleigh Park from Thursday 16 to
Sunday 19 November. Tickets cost £13.50 on the door (£7.50 for children aged
7-16) but you can save £1.50 (and jump the queues) by booking online or by
phone. All advance tickets are available by visiting www.dirtbikeshow.co.uk or
alternatively customers can call the ticket hotline on 0870 010 9019.

CO2 emission information.

The values for fuel consumption, CO2 emissions and energy consumption shown were determined in a standardised test cycle according to the European Regulation (EC) 715/2007 in the version currently applicable. The figures refer to a vehicle with basic configuration in Germany and the range shown considers transmission (automatic or manual) and the different wheels and tyres available on the selected model and may vary during the configuration.

The values of the vehicles labelled with (*), are already based on the test cycle according to the new WLTP regulation and are translated back into NEDC-equivalent values in order to allow a comparison between vehicles. More information on the transition from NEDC to WLTP test procedures can be found here.

These figures are intended for comparison purposes and may not be representative of what a user achieves under usual driving conditions. For plug-in hybrid vehicles and battery electric vehicles the figures have been obtained using a combination of battery power and petrol fuel after the battery had been fully charged. Plug-in hybrid vehicles and battery electric vehicles require mains electricity for charging. The CO2 emissions labels are determined according to Directive 1999/94/EC and the Passenger Car (Fuel consumption and CO2 Emissions Information) Regulations 2001, as amended. They are based on the fuel consumption, CO2 values and energy consumptions according to the NEDC cycle.

A guide on fuel economy and CO2 emissions which contains data for all new passenger car models is available at any point of sale free of charge. For further information you can also visit this link.
