Extended BMW 3 Series range tops off record year

BMW Great Britain is extending the 3 Series Saloon and Touring range after a
record-breaking year for the company's most popular model. Dynamic new ES
versions of the best-selling 318i Saloon/Touring and 320d Saloon/Touring will
be available from January. Sport derivatives of BMW 320 petrol and diesel
models have also been added to the line-up.

BMW Great Britain has registered over 60,000 3 Series models in a
record-breaking 2002, forming the foundation for what will be the company's
best-ever year for sales with over 85,000 BMWs registered in the UK.

BMW 318i ES / BMW 320d ES

The new 318i ES and 320d ES will be available in Saloon and Touring bodystyles.
In Saloon guise, the range of additional standard items over the base 318i/320d
models offers great value and an even sportier feel and image. For just £19,995
(otr) for the 318i ES and £20,995 (otr) for the 320d ES, the two models offer
£2,390 worth of options as standard over the 318i (£20,125 otr) and 320d
(£21,645 otr) with the inclusion of:

· Sports suspension
· 7 x 16 inch Cross Spoke alloy wheels
· M Leather steering wheel
· Anthracite headlining
· Colour coded door/grab handles
· CD player
· Storage compartment package

ES Touring models feature the same equipment as the Saloons and introduce new
entry level derivatives for the Touring 318i/320d at £20,750 (otr) for the
petrol and £21,750 (otr) for the diesel.

BMW 320i Sport / BMW 320d Sport

Sport derivatives have proved the most popular variants in the 330 and 325
line-ups during 2002 and the option has now been extended to all 320i six
cylinder petrol and 320d four cylinder diesel models. These will feature the
same exceptional interior and exterior specifications as on 330 and 325 Sport
models, offering the following equipment over the SE models (Saloon/Touring)
and standard Coupe and Convertible models:
