X5 3.0d Le Mans Blue Sport Edition launched:

With order books for BMW's X5 3.0d extending into 2006 customers looking to
further personalise their car will now be able to order the X5 3.0d Le Mans
Blue Sport Edition. Featuring Le Mans Blue metallic paint, previously only seen
on the flagship 4.8is model, the new Edition also comes with 20-inch V-spoke
alloy wheels, aluminium running boards and part Nappa leather/Alcantara
upholstery as standard. The 3.0d Le Mans Blue Sport Edition, which is
mechanically identical to the standard X5 3.0d Sport, costs £40,055
on-the-road, a premium of only £1,540 over the 'standard' Sport model.

Exclusive Edition bolsters the X5 range:

A new standard of luxury comes to the X5 range with the introduction of
Exclusive Editions to the model line-up.

Available in both SE and Sport Exclusive Edition guises, the opulent level of
interior and exterior finish offers a significant increase in specification
compared to a 'standard' SE or Sport model.

The SE Exclusive Edition gains Individual Carbon Black or Stratus Grey
paintwork, 18-inch alloy wheels, high-gloss Shadowline, colour-coded exterior
parts and high-gloss black exhaust tailpipes. Inside, Ecru cream or Cinnamon
Extended Soft Nappa leather upholstery is included with anthracite floor mats
piped in matching leather, electrically adjustable Sports seats, Smoke Grey
Poplar wood trim, anthracite headlining and matt chrome instrument bezels
completing the package.

Prices for the new model variants start at £41,845 on-the-road for the X5 3.0i
SE Exclusive Edition, £42,220 for the X5 3.0d SE Exclusive Edition and £51,985
for the X5 4.4i SE Exclusive Edition.

For customers wanting the benefits of the Exclusive Edition, but still wanting
the attributes of Sport trim, four new models are also offered. Called Sport
Exclusive Edition, all cars feature Individual Carbon Black or Stratus Grey
paint, Ecru cream or Cinnamon Extended Soft Nappa leather interior, anthracite
floor mats with matching leather piping and Smoke Grey Poplar wood trim.

The X5 3.0i Sport Exclusive Edition costs £41,950, with the 3.0d variant
costing £42,325. The X5 4.4i model costs £52,060 while the high performance
4.8is Sport Exclusive Edition is £61,695.

New range of option packages for X5:

BMW X5 buyers can further enhance their new cars with three new option packages
- Sport Plus, Premium and Climate.

Sport Plus Package* adds 20-inch V-spoke alloy wheels, aluminium running boards
and Nappa leather/Alcantara/leather upholstery, and costs from £880. The
Premium Package benefits from Panorama sunroof, electrically adjustable lumbar
support for the seats, Xenon headlights and Exclusive Soft Nappa leather
upholstery and costs from £1,140. Finally, the Climate Package offers steering
wheel heating, climate comfort windscreen, heated front seats and sun
protection glass, priced at £520.

The Sport Plus, Premium and Climate packages are available for order on X5
3.0i, 3.0d and 4.4i models.

*Sport Plus Package is only available on Sport models.

Note to editors: Due to the content of the packages and specific X5 models, it
may not always be possible to specify certain packages together.

CO2 emission information.

The values for fuel consumption, CO2 emissions and energy consumption shown were determined in a standardised test cycle according to the European Regulation (EC) 715/2007 in the version currently applicable. The figures refer to a vehicle with basic configuration in Germany and the range shown considers transmission (automatic or manual) and the different wheels and tyres available on the selected model and may vary during the configuration.

The values of the vehicles labelled with (*), are already based on the test cycle according to the new WLTP regulation and are translated back into NEDC-equivalent values in order to allow a comparison between vehicles. More information on the transition from NEDC to WLTP test procedures can be found here.

These figures are intended for comparison purposes and may not be representative of what a user achieves under usual driving conditions. For plug-in hybrid vehicles and battery electric vehicles the figures have been obtained using a combination of battery power and petrol fuel after the battery had been fully charged. Plug-in hybrid vehicles and battery electric vehicles require mains electricity for charging. The CO2 emissions labels are determined according to Directive 1999/94/EC and the Passenger Car (Fuel consumption and CO2 Emissions Information) Regulations 2001, as amended. They are based on the fuel consumption, CO2 values and energy consumptions according to the NEDC cycle.

A guide on fuel economy and CO2 emissions which contains data for all new passenger car models is available at any point of sale free of charge. For further information you can also visit this link.
