BMW Motorrad is offering a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to test ride the new
163bhp K1200 R muscle bike in California, USA. Simply by visiting
www.respect1200.com and entering the online competition, one UK motorcyclist
will join others from around the world and ride the motorcycle of the moment in
the city of Angels, courtesy of BMW.
This exclusive competition will see one lucky winner from the UK fly to
California to experience a week of riding BMW's naked roadster in Los Angeles -
the exciting, vibrant city that is widely regarded as the entertainment capital
of the world - as well as discovering the picturesque west coast of America.
Sharing its engine with the formidable K1200 S superbike, the K1200 R has
received rave reviews since its international press launch last month. BMW's
new roadster oozes aggressive styling thanks to its distinctive front-dual
headlights, transversely mounted four-cylinder engine and innovative
developments such as Duolever suspension technology. Combine this with
excellent road holding and a zero to 62mph time of just 2.9 seconds, and it's
easy to see how the K1200 R has set new standards in the 'super naked' bike
segment.
The K1200 R won't officially be launched in BMW dealerships until 4 June but
the excitement has already begun. Enthusiasts can enter this exclusive
competition now by visiting the special www.respect1200.com micro site, which
also includes detailed specifications, downloadable screen savers, plus a short
film clip showing BMW's roadster in action in Arizona.
The deadline for all competition entries is 10 June.
