The fifth-generation of BMW Group's electric drive. Its main components are the electric drive unit and the high-voltage battery. The electric drive unit consists of the electric engine, the transmission and the power electronics. It does not contain any rare earths. The high-voltage battery consists of several battery modules, which are interconnected and integrated into the housing. (01/2023)

The fifth-generation of BMW Group's electric drive. Its main components are the electric drive unit and the high-voltage battery. The electric drive unit consists of the electric engine, the transmission and the power electronics. It does not contain any rare earths. The high-voltage battery consists of several battery modules, which are interconnected and integrated into the housing. (01/2023)
