BMW Art Car World Tour 2025 will stop off in Munich from 17 June with the legendary BMW Art Cars based on the 3 Series. The BMW Museum in Munich is using a special exhibition taking place as part of the international BMW Art Car World Tour to celebrate the 50-year anniversary of both the legendary BMW Art Car Collection and the iconic BMW 3 Series.
On 7 June, the “Belle Macchine. Italian Automotive Design at BMW” exhibition will open its doors at the BMW Museum. With its famed sense for timeless aesthetics, Italy has set standards in fashion, interior and product design for as long as anyone can remember. And Italian designers have also left an enduring mark on the automotive world.

The Bavarian State Government has now eased its regulations and measures to curb the spread of the coronavirus. As a result, BMW Welt will be reopening its vehicle collection service, sales rooms and showrooms from May 4. Customers can therefore once again collect their new BMW in person at BMW Welt.
On the basis of the current guidelines and measures announced by the Bavarian State Government to contain the spread of coronavirus infections, BMW Welt, the BMW Museum and BMW Group Classic will be closed to the public from 17 March until further notice.

BMW Museum hosted a grand gala event for the presentation of the Eckart Witzigmann Award 2015 on Tuesday. “Chef of the century” Eckart Witzigmann paid tribute to fellow chef Massimo Bottura, the Troigros family of restaurateurs and the father of Nordic cuisine, Claus Meyer. Awards were also presented for contemporary German gastronomy, represented by three of its outstanding exponents: Ulrike Thieltges, Klaus Erfort and Melanie Wagner.
From 27 November 2014, MINI – the BMW Group’s cult urban brand – will be the focus of attention in a temporary exhibition entitled “The MINI Story”. Up to 31 January 2016, visitors to the BMW Museum will for the first time be able to admire over 30 original vehicles, smaller exhibits and accessories from 55 years of MINI history.
50 wins and countless podium places – after an absence of 20 years, BMW this year resumes its success story in the German Touring Car Masters. Munich. As the classic car season gets under way, the BMW Museum city tours in historic BMW automobiles are about to resume as well. Participants can explore Munich’s leading sights in true style – with a chauffeur on board. These limited city tours take place on select days between April and October 2012, starting at 11.00 and 15.00 hrs and lasting around three hours. The city tour season begins on Sunday, 22 April 2012.
Munich. The BMW Museum is dedicating a special exhibition to the world-renowned fashion and advertising illustrator René Gruau, who died in 2004. Munich. From 13 March to 30 April 2012, the BMW Museum will be showcasing a rather unusual exhibit – a 3D puzzle created by legendary puzzle writer CUS and presented on the BMW LMR V12, winner of the 1999 Le Mans and one of the most fascinating racing cars in BMW history. The so-called “Mystery Car” will be parked in the foyer of the BMW Museum and can be viewed without an admission ticket.

CO2 emission information.
Fuel consumption, CO2 emission figures and power consumption and range were measured using the methods required according to Regulation VO (EC) 2007/715 as amended. They refer to vehicles on the German automotive market. For ranges, the NEDC figures take into account differences in the selected wheel and tyre size, while the WLTP figures take into account the effects of any optional equipment.
All figures have already been calculated based on the new WLTP test cycle. NEDC figures listed have been adjusted to the NEDC measurement method where applicable. WLTP values are used as a basis for the assessment of taxes and other vehicle-related duties which are (also) based on CO2 emissions and, where applicable, for the purposes of vehicle-specific subsidies.
