The highlight of the season was undoubtedly the world title win by factory rider Toprak Razgatlioglu (TUR) in WorldSBK. A dream weekend with a fairytale ending – that is how BMW Motorrad Motorsport can describe the season finale of the 2024 WorldSBK. On Saturday, Toprak Razgatlioglu from the ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team was crowned World Champion early with his BMW M 1000 RR. On Sunday, he celebrated his 18th win of the season, and teammate Michael van der Mark made the dream of a shared podium come true with a third-place finish.
Toprak Razgatlioglu (TUR) is firmly back in winning ways. At the penultimate round of the 2024 FIM Superbike World Championship (WorldSBK) at Estoril, Portugal, he secured a dominant pole position and won both main races by a wide margin with his ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team’s BMW M 1000 RR.
After missing two race weekends due to his severe crash at Magny-Cours (FRA), Toprak Razgatlioglu (TUR) made an impressive return. The BMW Motorrad factory rider finishing second in all three races in the tenth round of the 2024 FIM Superbike World Championship (WorldSBK) at MotorLand Aragón. Saturday even saw a double podium for the BMW Motorrad Motorsport family as Garrett Gerloff (USA) from the Bonovo action BMW Racing Team finished third.
In the ninth round of the 2024 season, the FIM Superbike World Championship (WorldSBK) ventured into new territory, racing for the first time at the Cremona Circuit (ITA). At the WorldSBK debut on the track in Emilia Romagna, the BMW Motorrad factory riders gave strong race performances after an unlucky qualifying session.
Championship leader Toprak Razgatlioglu (TUR) will not participate in the upcoming FIM Superbike World Championship (WorldSBK) race weekend in Cremona, Italy. Recent medical examinations have shown that Razgatlioglu requires more time for his recovery following his heavy crash in Magny-Cours (FRA). Therefore, in coordination with the BMW Motorrad Motorsport doctors, it has been decided together to withdraw Razgatlioglu from participating in Cremona.
The WorldSBK Magny-Cours round started with a shock: World championship leader Toprak Razgatlioglu suffered a severe crash in the second free practice session on Friday and was unable to take part in the Superpole and the three races. Jubilation followed this setback when teammate Michael van der Mark celebrated his first victory since 2021. Garrett Gerloff secured the first WorldSBK podium for the Bonovo action BMW Racing Team.
The record hunt was successful. Toprak Razgatlioglu is the first rider in the history of the FIM Superbike World Championship (WorldSBK) to achieve the incredible streak of 13 consecutive victories. The BMW Motorrad factory rider won all three races from pole position on his ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team BMW M 1000 RR at Portimão, securing his fourth consecutive hat-trick.
With the seventh round of the 2024 WorldSBK taking place at Portimão, Portugal, BMW Motorrad Motorsport enters the second half of what has been a very successful season so far. Toprak Razgatlioglu arrives there leading the riders’ championship by 64 points, with BMW atop the manufacturers’ standings. At Portimão, ‘El Turco’ has the chance to match or even surpass the existing record of eleven consecutive wins.
Toprak Razgatlioglu (TUR) remains unbeatable on the BMW M 1000 RR. At the sixth round of the 2024 WorldSBK in Most, ‘El Turco’ claimed pole position, all three race victories, and set new lap records. With 12 wins this season, ten of them in a row, he has extended his lead in the riders’ standings to 64 points. Additionally, BMW took first place in the manufacturers’ world championship at the season’s midpoint.

Toprak Razgatlioglu (TUR) from the ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team continued his impressive performance on the BMW M 1000 RR at the fifth round of the 2024 FIM Superbike World Championship (WorldSBK). Following a perfect weekend at Misano (ITA), ‘El Turco’ was again the benchmark at Donington Park (GBR). Starting from pole position, he won all three races in Great Britain, each with a significant lead, and set several new lap records.

From 19th to 21st April, WorldSBK visits the famous Assen TT Circuit, Netherlands. This new strong partnership was officially announced during the WorldSBK race weekend in Barcelona (ESP).
The second race weekend of the 2024 WorldSBK at Barcelona turned into a success story for BMW Motorrad Motorsport. Razgatlioglu claimed his next victory in the Superpole Race in the morning and followed it up with a third-place finish on the podium in the second race.

CO2 emission information.
Fuel consumption, CO2 emission figures and power consumption and range were measured using the methods required according to Regulation VO (EC) 2007/715 as amended. They refer to vehicles on the German automotive market. For ranges, the NEDC figures take into account differences in the selected wheel and tyre size, while the WLTP figures take into account the effects of any optional equipment.
All figures have already been calculated based on the new WLTP test cycle. NEDC figures listed have been adjusted to the NEDC measurement method where applicable. WLTP values are used as a basis for the assessment of taxes and other vehicle-related duties which are (also) based on CO2 emissions and, where applicable, for the purposes of vehicle-specific subsidies.
