What a race weekend for BMW M Team WRT! The Belgian team dominated the second season event in the Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS Sprint Cup at Misano (ITA) and celebrated victory in both races.
Nurturing young racing talent has been one of the cornerstones of BMW M Motorsport’s programme for decades. Most recently, BMW Junior Team made waves in GT racing for several years, nurturing Dan Harper, Max Hesse, and Neil Verhagen into BMW M works drivers. They now join forces with Charles Weerts to form the group born after the turn of the millennium. For the 2024 season, BMW M Motorsport has given them a name and a new logo: Gen2K.
BMW M Motorsport is consolidating its forces for the 2024 DTM season. Schubert Motorsport will field three BMW M4 GT3s, with DTM champions René Rast (GER), Sheldon van der Linde (RSA), and Marco Wittmann (GER) at the wheel.

During a media event at Spa (BEL), BMW M Team WRT introduced the BMW M4 GT3 drivers for the 2024 season in the LMGT3 class of the FIA World Endurance Championship (FIA WEC) and the Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe powered by AWS (GTWC).
The driver line-up for BMW M Team RLL’s start to the second GTP season of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship (IMSA series) in 2024 has been confirmed. Like last season, Connor De Phillippi (USA) and Nick Yelloly (GBR) are the regular pairing in the #25 BMW M Hybrid V8. Jesse Krohn (FIN) joins Philipp Eng (AUT) in the #24 BMW M Hybrid V8.
This weekend sees the 2023 WorldSBK season draw to a close at Jerez de la Frontera. BMW Motorrad Motorsport is eager to build on the good results of previous rounds at the finale. Garrett Gerloff (finished in fourth place in both the main races at the penultimate round of the season at Portimão, trailing first place by less than three seconds. Michael van der Mark returned to the top ten there after an injury-enforced break.
Plans for the FIM Superbike World Championship 2024 (WorldSBK) are continuing to take shape for BMW Motorrad Motorsport. A new allocation for the four BMW Motorrad factory riders in the two BMW teams is set to strengthen and optimise the overall project.

CO2 emission information.
Fuel consumption, CO2 emission figures and power consumption and range were measured using the methods required according to Regulation VO (EC) 2007/715 as amended. They refer to vehicles on the German automotive market. For ranges, the NEDC figures take into account differences in the selected wheel and tyre size, while the WLTP figures take into account the effects of any optional equipment.
All figures have already been calculated based on the new WLTP test cycle. NEDC figures listed have been adjusted to the NEDC measurement method where applicable. WLTP values are used as a basis for the assessment of taxes and other vehicle-related duties which are (also) based on CO2 emissions and, where applicable, for the purposes of vehicle-specific subsidies.
