Great joy for BMW M Motorsport: In a true heart-stopping finale, Sheldon van der Linde (RSA), Dries Vanthoor, and Charles Weerts (both BEL) triumphed at the Indianapolis 8 Hour. At the finish, the trio in the #31 BMW M4 GT3 from Team WRT had a lead of 0.260 seconds over second place. After missing two race weekends due to his severe crash at Magny-Cours (FRA), Toprak Razgatlioglu (TUR) made an impressive return. The BMW Motorrad factory rider finishing second in all three races in the tenth round of the 2024 FIM Superbike World Championship (WorldSBK) at MotorLand Aragón. Saturday even saw a double podium for the BMW Motorrad Motorsport family as Garrett Gerloff (USA) from the Bonovo action BMW Racing Team finished third.

The upcoming Indianapolis 8 Hour (USA) on 5th October (Race start: 18:15 CEST) serves as the season finale for both the Intercontinental GT Challenge and the Fanatec GT World Challenge America powered by AWS. BMW M Motorsport is in contention for titles in both race series. Team WRT is competing with two BMW M4 GT3s and six BMW M works drivers to secure the driver and manufacturer titles in the Intercontinental GT Challenge.
In the ninth round of the 2024 season, the FIM Superbike World Championship (WorldSBK) ventured into new territory, racing for the first time at the Cremona Circuit (ITA). At the season finale of the 2024 FIM Endurance World Championship (FIM EWC), the 24-hour Bol d’Or race at Le Castellet (FRA), the BMW Motorrad World Endurance Team experienced all the highs and setbacks that endurance racing can offer. CO2 emission information.
Fuel consumption, CO2 emission figures and power consumption and range were measured using the methods required according to Regulation VO (EC) 2007/715 as amended. They refer to vehicles on the German automotive market. For ranges, the NEDC figures take into account differences in the selected wheel and tyre size, while the WLTP figures take into account the effects of any optional equipment.
All figures have already been calculated based on the new WLTP test cycle. NEDC figures listed have been adjusted to the NEDC measurement method where applicable. WLTP values are used as a basis for the assessment of taxes and other vehicle-related duties which are (also) based on CO2 emissions and, where applicable, for the purposes of vehicle-specific subsidies.
