After the first longer break in the 2017 DTM calendar, the BMW teams and drivers are now preparing for the fifth and sixth races of the season. Both races will take place on the tight Hungaroring, just outside Budapest (HUN), the Hungarian capital. Marco Wittmann (GER) claimed a victory there on his way to the 2014 DTM title.
At the Lausitzring (GER), Maxime Martin (BEL) completed his 50th DTM race - and the 70th race for BMW Motorsport since the 2012 comeback - in eighth place.
Maxime Martin (BEL) finished fourth in Saturday’s DTM race at the Lausitzring (GER), scoring his first points of the 2017 season. He was the best-placed BMW driver in qualifying and started the third race of the year from third place in his SAMSUNG BMW M4 DTM. After 43 laps, he crossed the finishing line in fourth place. The remaining BMW drivers missed out on the top ten.
After the long winter break, the DTM has two rounds in May. Just 14 days after the season opener in Hockenheim (GER), the six BMW drivers will contest rounds three and four of the year at the Lausitzring (GER). The fans can look forward to a packed racing programme at the “Motorsport Festival”. In addition to the DTM, the ADAC GT Masters will also compete on the 3.478-kilometre track.

CO2 emission information.
Fuel consumption, CO2 emission figures and power consumption and range were measured using the methods required according to Regulation VO (EC) 2007/715 as amended. They refer to vehicles on the German automotive market. For ranges, the NEDC figures take into account differences in the selected wheel and tyre size, while the WLTP figures take into account the effects of any optional equipment.
All figures have already been calculated based on the new WLTP test cycle. NEDC figures listed have been adjusted to the NEDC measurement method where applicable. WLTP values are used as a basis for the assessment of taxes and other vehicle-related duties which are (also) based on CO2 emissions and, where applicable, for the purposes of vehicle-specific subsidies.
