Donington Park. Toprak Razgatlioglu (TUR) from the ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team continued his impressive performance on the BMW M 1000 RR at the fifth round of the 2024 FIM Superbike World Championship (WorldSBK). Following a perfect weekend at Misano (ITA), ‘El Turco’ was again the benchmark at Donington Park (GBR). Starting from pole position, he won all three races in Great Britain, each with a significant lead, and set several new lap records.

Fighting spirit was required from the three Schubert Motorsport drivers at the second race weekend of the DTM at the Lausitzring (GER). Sheldon van der Linde (RSA), René Rast (GER), and Marco Wittmann (GER) collected important points in both races despite problems in the qualifying sessions. BMW Motorrad Motorsport is opting for continuity with a strong new addition in the upcoming 2024 season of the FIM EWC. In the BMW Motorrad World Endurance Team, Markus Reiterberger (GER) and Ilya Mikhalchik (UKR) will continue to compete, as they have since the beginning of the factory commitment in the FIM EWC. They will form the core trio with a new teammate on the #37 BMW M 1000 RR, well-experienced Sylvain Guintoli (FRA).
The BMW Motorrad Motorsport factory rider family is expanding further with the addition of Frenchman Sylvain Guintoli and Briton Bradley Smith. As riders of the newly formed test team, they will bring their extensive expertise to the development and testing of the BMW M 1000 RR.
