Toprak Razgatlioglu (TUR) from the ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team was the dominant man at the fourth round of the 2024 FIM Superbike World Championship (WorldSBK). With a perfect weekend on his BMW M 1000 RR at Misano (ITA), he achieved BMW Motorrad Motorsport’s historic first hat-trick in WorldSBK. Starting from pole position, he won all three races of the weekend.
Hydrogen as a sustainable source of energy and movement is the central theme of BMW's program at this year's Art Basel in Basel. BMW, which has been a partner of Art Basel for 20 years, has commissioned London-based artist Es Devlin to create a series of multi-media works which will be unveiled on 10 June. Dense fog was the dominant theme at the 52nd edition of the 24h Nürburgring (GER). The second race of the 2024 FIM Endurance World Championship (FIM EWC) on Saturday, 8th June, is a special event for the BMW Motorrad World Endurance Team as the 8H SPA EWC Motos is the home race for Team Manager Werner Daemen (BEL) and many team members. Riding the #37 BMW M 1000 RR are Markus Reiterberger (GER), Ilya Mikhalchik (UKR), and Sylvain Guintoli (FRA), with Hannes Soomer (EST) as the fourth rider.
BMW M Motorsport engineers have been working intensively to make their flagship in GT racing, the BMW M4 GT3, even better. The result of this work is the EVO version of the car, which was presented on Wednesday evening before the 24 Hours at the Nürburgring (GER) in the M Showroom at the ring°boulevard. The BMW M4 GT3 EVO will be in race action from the 2025 season.
