The 8 Hours of Bahrain on 2nd November marks the end of BMW M Motorsport's debut season in the Hypercar class of the FIA World Endurance Championship (FIA WEC). On the Sunday following the race, the FIA WEC Rookie Test is scheduled, where Valentino Rossi (ITA), Dan Harper (GBR), and Max Hesse (GER) will take the wheel of the BMW M Hybrid V8.
A dream weekend with a fairytale ending – that is how BMW Motorrad Motorsport can describe the season finale of the 2024 WorldSBK. On Saturday, Toprak Razgatlioglu from the ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team was crowned World Champion early with his BMW M 1000 RR. On Sunday, he celebrated his 18th win of the season, and teammate Michael van der Mark made the dream of a shared podium come true with a third-place finish.
“It feels incredible”. Toprak Razgatlioglu (TUR) has done it! The 28-year-old BMW Motorrad factory rider is the 2024 Superbike World Champion.

Toprak Razgatlioglu (TUR) is firmly back in winning ways. At the penultimate round of the 2024 FIM Superbike World Championship (WorldSBK) at Estoril, Portugal, he secured a dominant pole position and won both main races by a wide margin with his ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team’s BMW M 1000 RR.

In the ninth round of the 2024 season, the FIM Superbike World Championship (WorldSBK) ventured into new territory, racing for the first time at the Cremona Circuit (ITA). At the WorldSBK debut on the track in Emilia Romagna, the BMW Motorrad factory riders gave strong race performances after an unlucky qualifying session.

The WorldSBK Magny-Cours round started with a shock: World championship leader Toprak Razgatlioglu suffered a severe crash in the second free practice session on Friday and was unable to take part in the Superpole and the three races. Jubilation followed this setback when teammate Michael van der Mark celebrated his first victory since 2021. Garrett Gerloff secured the first WorldSBK podium for the Bonovo action BMW Racing Team.

The record hunt was successful. Toprak Razgatlioglu is the first rider in the history of the FIM Superbike World Championship (WorldSBK) to achieve the incredible streak of 13 consecutive victories. The BMW Motorrad factory rider won all three races from pole position on his ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team BMW M 1000 RR at Portimão, securing his fourth consecutive hat-trick.
