NLS: Nine class wins in second race of the season.
The second race of the Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS) season was another resounding success for the BMW M Motorsport Teams. In addition to the overall win with Jesse Krohn (FIN) and Jakub Giermaziak (POL) in the Walkenhorst Motorsport #34 BMW M4 GT3, which also secured victory in the top category SP9 Pro, a further eight class wins were recorded at the end of the 4-hour race. The new BMW M4 GT4 was victorious in the SP10 class thanks to FK Performance Motorsport, and in the SP8T category thanks to the “Girls Only” team of GITI TIRE MOTORSPORT BY WS RACING.
There were also successes for the Schubert Motorsport BMW M2 CS Racing in the BMW M2 CS class and the Adrenalin Motorsport Team Motec BMW M240i Racing in the BMW M240i category. The Adrenalin team also won the VT2-R+4WD class with the BMW 330i. Further class wins went to QTQ-Raceperformance with the BMW 325i in V4, to Dürener MSC e.V. im ADAC with the BMW 325i in SP4, and to Bernd Kleeschulte (GER) with the BMW M3 E92 GTR in H4.

24h Nürburgring: Three BMW M works drivers to represent Walkenhorst Motorsport.
In Jake Dennis (GBR), Jesse Krohn (FIN) and Jens Klingmann (GER), three BMW M works drivers will compete for Walkenhorst Motorsport in the BMW M4 GT3 at the 24 Hours Nürburgring (GER) in May. The two preparation races held to date have given all three of them the opportunity to get to know their team, driver colleagues and how everything works. Krohn crowned his first appearance of the season last weekend with the overall win in the Nürburgring Endurance Series. A total of 14 BMW M works drivers will be competing in the iconic endurance race at the Nordschleife – eight for ROWE Racing, three for BMW M Team RMG and three for Walkenhorst Motorsport.

GTWC/GT4/GT/TC America: Wins and podiums in Sonoma.
The first major race weekend in the American SRO race series was held in Sonoma (USA). In the Fanatec GT World Challenge America powered by AWS, Bill Auberlen and Chandler Hull (both USA) in the number 94 BimmerWorld BMW M4 GT3 finished second in the Pro category on Saturday. They finished fifth in the race on Sunday. BMW M works driver John Edwards (USA) and BMW M Motorsport brand ambassador Samantha Tan (CAN) in the #38 ST Racing BMW M4 GT3 started Sunday’s race from pole position and crossed the finish line in fifth place in the Pro-Am class. The duo was forced to retire from the race on Saturday.
A total of ten new BMW M4 GT4s contested the GT4 America and GT America. Kevin Boehm and Kenton Koch (both USA) finished in second place in the Silver class with the number 92 car of Random Vandals Racing on Saturday. James Clay and Charlie Postins (both USA) in the #36 BimmerWorld BMW M4 GT4 came third in the Am category. This was followed by a further three podiums on Sunday: In the Silver class, the Auto Technic Racing team secured second place with drivers John Dubets and Zack Anderson (bth USA) in the #51 BMW M4 GT4. Third place went to the STR38 Motorsports team with drivers Jon Miller and Chandler Hull (both USA) with the #88 BMW M4 GT4. In the Am class, the STR38 Motorsports team with drivers Robert Mau and Chris Allen (both USA) took second place in the #438 BMW M4 GT4. In GT America, Rob Walker (USA), as the only BMW representative, finished in eighth and fifth places in the GT4 class with the #253 Auto Technic Racing BMW M4 GT4.
In TC America, Colin Garrett (USA) in the Rooster Hall Racing BMW M2 CS Racing finished first on Saturday, ahead of his brand colleague Lucas Catania (USA) from Team Rigid Speed Company. The two drivers made it onto the podium again in the second race, with Catania finishing second again, and Garrett in third place.

Sim racing: Podium for BMW SIM Team Redline.
The fourth round of the virtual race series with a top-class field, ESL R1, was held on the sim racing platform RENNSPORT at the beginning of last week. This time, some of the best sim racers and teams in the world took to the virtual Spa-Francorchamps track. Once again, the BMW teams in the virtual version of the BMW M4 GT3 played a leading role. Third place on the podium went to Kevin Siggy (SLO) from BMW SIM Team Redline, and his team-mate Enzo Bonito (ITA) finished right behind him. Nils Naujoks (GER) from BMW M Team BS+COMPETITION, who brought home his first podium of the season when he finished in P2 in the third round, finished fifth this time of asking.
