CO2 EMISSIONS & CONSUMPTION.

BMW i8 Roadster: combined fuel consumption 2,1 l/100 km; combined electricity consumption 14,7 kWh/100 km; combined CO2 emissions 48 g/km (Calculated in the EU test cycle, in combination with standard tyres). All figures are preliminary.

BMW i8: combined fuel consumption 2,0 l/100 km; combined electricity consumption 14,2 kWh/100 km; combined CO2 emissions 44 g/km (Calculated in the EU test cycle, in combination with standard tyres). All figures are preliminary.

The values of fuel consumptions, CO2 emissions and energy consumptions shown were determined according to the European Regulation (EC) 715/2007 in the version applicable at the time of type approval. The figures refer to a vehicle with basic configuration in Germany and the range shown considers optional equipment and the different size of wheels and tires available on the selected model.

All values are already based on the new WLTP regulation and are translated back into NEDC-equivalent values in order to ensure the comparison between the vehicles. [With respect to these vehicles, for vehicle related taxes or other duties based (at least inter alia) on CO2-emissions the CO2 values may differ to the values stated here.]

CO2 emission information.

Fuel consumption, CO2 emission figures and power consumption and range were measured using the methods required according to Regulation VO (EC) 2007/715 as amended. They refer to vehicles on the German automotive market. For ranges, the NEDC figures take into account differences in the selected wheel and tyre size, while the WLTP figures take into account the effects of any optional equipment.

All figures have already been calculated based on the new WLTP test cycle. NEDC figures listed have been adjusted to the NEDC measurement method where applicable. WLTP values are used as a basis for the assessment of taxes and other vehicle-related duties which are (also) based on CO2 emissions and, where applicable, for the purposes of vehicle-specific subsidies. Further information are available at www.bmw.de/wltp and at www.dat.de/co2/.
