BMW GROUP NEW ZEALAND RECOGNISES DEALER NETWORK FOR OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE IN 2020.

• BMW and MINI New Zealand dealers receive awards for exemplary performance across different business areas, contributing to the outstanding performance for both brands in 2020
• Coombes Johnston BMW and Hawke’s Bay BMW awarded coveted titles for NZ Dealers of the Year

BMW Group New Zealand has recognised the outstanding achievements amongst its strong dealer network after a successful 2020 despite the global COVID-19 pandemic.  

15 dealers and employees were crowned at the 2020 Dealer of the Year Awards event, hosted by BMW Group New Zealand at the Park Hyatt Auckland.

Karol Abrasowicz-Madej, Managing Director of BMW Group New Zealand noted that these awards were made even more poignant against the backdrop of such challenging trading conditions throughout 2020.  

“The BMW and MINI dealer network demonstrated unwavering resilience across every aspect of their business over the past year,” Mr. Abrasowicz-Madej said.

“This dedication was reflected in the way they pivoted their business operations to suit fast-changing lockdown conditions in the country, all the while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, leadership and management practices with a customer-driven mindset.”

Coombes Johnston BMW in Hamilton was awarded the prestigious title of Metro Dealer of the Year 2020. This is the second consecutive year the dealership has taken home top honours, an accolade of rare distinction as exemplified by top performance across all areas in the business.

Hawke’s Bay BMW achieved the same excellence in their operations and took home the Rural Dealer of the Year 2020 award.
