Munich. In the exciting action-packed thriller "The
Transporter", Chinese director Corey Yuen had already gone for
BMW. In the film, Jason Statham, playing special courier Frank Martin,
drives a black BMW 7 Series. For the new film version of the video game
"Dead or Alive", Yuen decided on a BMW R 1200 ST motorcycle,
on which Christie, played by pop star Holly Valance in her first
feature film role, drives through China. Corey Yuen, director and
choreographer. Corey Yuen is one of the icons of Hong Kong film. Trained
in the tough "China Drama Academy" in Hong Kong, he was,
along with martial arts expert Jackie Chan and Kung Fu specialist Sammo
Hung, amongst the school's elite troop, the "Seven Little
Fortunes". In the film, Yuen creatively combines the requirements
of the game series with innovative scenes depicting the art of
fighting. "Dead or Alive" game series. "Dead or
Alive" is the title of a game series produced by the Japanese
gamesmiths Tecmo. The version presented for the first time in Japanese
gaming centres in 1996 has undergone various adaptations using
increasingly sophisticated graphics and has been realised in different
versions for a wide range of game consoles. However, it always retained
the "beat-'em-up" style, in which the player can choose, in
his virtual battles, between different characters, fighting techniques,
player modes, costumes, places, situations and much more. "Dead or
Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball (DOAXBV)" is a special game. In this
sports game, games developer Tomonobu Itagaki created a peaceful form
of conflict. In the film version, this is featured in the form of a
volleyball sequence lasting several minutes. For many years now,
"Dead or Alive", with over six million games sold, has been
one of the most successful video games in the world, with a totally
enthusiastic fan following. Filmed in "Yuzi Paradise". The
action spectacular was filmed in 2005 in Hong Kong, in the "Yuzi
Paradise" near the city of Guilin in China and the Hengdian World
Studios, in which 13 separate sets were built on a 25.6 square
kilometre open space. Further information and up-to-date photographic
