BMW Group Classic earns two trophies at the award ceremony for the Corporate Media & TV Awards held in the film-festival city in the South of France – the video Christmas greeting “Santa´s Choice” wins the Golden Dolphin in the category “Viral” and a Silver Dolphin in the category “Social Media and Short Videos” goes to animation film “40 Years BMW M1”.
At the Goodwood Revival, Troy Corser and Herbert Schwab astride the BMW R 57 Kompressor won the overall placings in the race for the Barry Sheene Memorial Trophy for the first time – Off the race track, BMW Group Classic also recalled the 1950s and 1960s with a glamorous vehicle fleet and period backdrop to match the era.

Premieres of the BMW M1 40 years ago and the ”large coupés” 50 years ago are the focus of the historical review. Exhibition Hall 14 of the Essen Trade Fair Centre will be designed with images from the vehicle collection and the workshop of BMW Group Classic.
New: 21 starting places have been allocated exclusively to vehicles not included under the regulations. BMW Group Classic has once again made a commitment as the main sponsor of the tour for cult classics.
